Our Story
We have been doing free events under our parent non-profit Skate Park Association International since 2002 but in 2017 started a sister 501 C3 nonprofit organization for skateboard events and afterschool programs in the USA
We Support All Skaters
Venice Ladies Jam is going into our 7th year and we work closely with the City of Los Angeles and Venice Recreation and Parks to keep this event free for all the girls;
Our Approach
No matter what your background when you skate with us "you are a skater". We do not care your race, religion or economic status and that is why we produce free events. When we started, skateboarding was illegal and kids in the inner city were left out. To the left is a photo of our team in 2000. They were caught skateboarding in Los Angeles on our way to do a demo for the city. The day before we did one for the Police in Rampart. The arresting officers remembered and kindly tore up those tickets $225 each.
